Ocean Visuals will attend Energy NL Conference 2026 as part of the Norwegian delegation, joining discussions on offshore energy, industry cooperation, and opportunities in Atlantic Canada.

Energy NL Conference is Eastern Canada’s leading offshore energy conference, bringing together operators, regulators, supply-chain companies, and decision-makers involved in offshore oil and gas, CCS, and the energy transition. The Norwegian delegation is organised by Norwegian Energy Partners in cooperation with the Canadian Embassy in Oslo and the Norwegian Embassy in Ottawa.
Atlantic Canada represents a relevant offshore market for Norwegian companies working with technology, operations, and environmental solutions for demanding marine environments.
The Energy NL Conference provides an opportunity to better understand upcoming offshore developments, regulatory frameworks, operator needs, and areas where Norwegian offshore competence can contribute to the Canadian energy sector.
For Ocean Visuals, these discussions are closely linked to our work with real-time sensing technology for offshore and marine environments. Our OWL™ technology enables detection, classification, and monitoring of oil and organic substances in water, supporting improved environmental monitoring and operational decision-making.
The delegation programme is intended to support cooperation between Norwegian and Canadian companies through dedicated meetings, networking activities, and opportunities to connect with key stakeholders in Newfoundland and Labrador.
For Ocean Visuals, attending the conference provides a valuable opportunity to engage with offshore industry representatives, explore market needs in Atlantic Canada, and strengthen dialogue around real-time monitoring technologies for marine operations.
We look forward to joining the Norwegian delegation and taking part in the discussions during Energy NL Conference 2026.

“The operational use of this technology has the potential to improve the verification of suspicious oil features, the detection of oil in the water column, reducing the need for conventional laboratory analysis.”
