Ocean Visuals is currently participating in the AquaSphere Accelerator 2026, joining a cohort of deep-tech ventures working on innovation across water management, maritime technology and the blue economy.

The accelerator is a fully funded 8-week programme designed to support start-ups and scale-ups in validating technologies, accessing new markets and strengthening investor readiness.
AquaSphere brings together ventures developing solutions for maritime challenges, water sustainability and coastal resilience.
For Ocean Visuals, the programme provides a relevant arena to connect with experts, investors and innovation partners working across the blue economy, while further strengthening the commercial development of our real-time monitoring technology.
Ocean Visuals develops LiDAR-based technology for real-time detection, classification and quantification of oil and organic substances in water.
Taking part in the AquaSphere Accelerator reflects the relevance of our work in a wider water and maritime innovation context, where better data, faster insight and scalable monitoring solutions are becoming increasingly important.
We look forward to continuing the programme and connecting with the wider AquaSphere community.

“The operational use of this technology has the potential to improve the verification of suspicious oil features, the detection of oil in the water column, reducing the need for conventional laboratory analysis.”
