Ocean Visuals has been selected to pitch during Disaster Resilience Days 2026 in Brussels, as part of the EIC Innovation Procurement Programme powered by SPIN4EIC.

The pitching session will bring together selected innovators whose technologies address challenges in disaster resilience, preparedness, and crisis response, creating opportunities to showcase solutions with potential real-world impact.
During the session, Ocean Visuals will present its technology for real-time detection, classification, and quantification of oil and organic substances in water.
For marine and coastal environments, access to reliable real-time data can support faster situational awareness when conditions change, helping decision-makers understand potential risks earlier and respond with greater confidence.
The event, organised under CERIS – Community for European Research and Innovation for Security, brings together experts, policymakers, and innovators from across Europe to discuss disaster resilience, preparedness, and technological advancements in crisis response.
Ocean Visuals looks forward to joining the session in Brussels and presenting how reliable real-time insight can support more informed decision-making in marine and coastal environments.

“The operational use of this technology has the potential to improve the verification of suspicious oil features, the detection of oil in the water column, reducing the need for conventional laboratory analysis.”
