Ocean Visuals at OTC 2026

May 13, 2026

This year’s OTC marked a successful week for Ocean Visuals, with valuable discussions, new connections, and strong industry interest in real-time offshore monitoring technologies.

OTC 2026 once again brought the offshore industry together in Houston, reflecting the scale, complexity, and continued development of offshore operations worldwide.

Offshore monitoring and operational visibility

Across offshore energy and maritime operations, there is growing focus on how operators can strengthen environmental awareness, improve visibility, and access reliable real-time data in complex marine environments.

Throughout the week, many conversations pointed to the same need: technologies that can support faster response, improve monitoring capabilities, and provide better insight into what is happening both at the surface and below it.

For Ocean Visuals, this connects directly to the role of real-time sensing in offshore operations. As our OWL™ technology enables detection, classification, and monitoring of oil and organic substances in water, including subsurface detection capabilities beyond the limitations of conventional surface-focused monitoring systems.

Conversations across the offshore sector

Beyond the exhibition floor, OTC provided valuable opportunities to reconnect with industry contacts, establish new relationships, and exchange perspectives with companies working across offshore operations, monitoring technologies, and environmental preparedness.

The week reinforced the importance of collaboration and continued technology development as offshore operations become more data-driven, operationally demanding, and environmentally complex.

We would also like to thank Innovation Norway for hosting the Norway Pavilion, and the Norwegian Seamen’s Church of Houston for their hospitality and support throughout the week.
