Ocean Visuals is pleased to announce our participation in the 2026 NOSCA Seminar, taking place in Bergen, Norway from May 18–22.

The seminar brings together the oil spill prevention and response community for a five-day programme combining conference sessions with live exercise observation. This year’s agenda covers topics including emerging technologies, AI, digital transformation, detection systems, operational response capabilities, and experience sharing across the industry.
As digital capabilities continue to evolve across the maritime and offshore sectors, the role of detection systems, operational awareness, and decision support is becoming increasingly important within preparedness and response operations.
The NOSCA Seminar has established itself as an important meeting place for industry professionals, response organizations, authorities, and technology providers, creating valuable opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and knowledge sharing beyond the formal programme.
One of the highlights of the week will be Exercise Bergen, where participants will travel from Bergen Harbour to Hjeltefjorden aboard the observation vessel MS Rygertroll to observe offshore, coastal, and shoreline response operations involving both public and private organizations.
We look forward to reconnecting with industry colleagues and taking part in the discussions throughout the week in Bergen.

“The operational use of this technology has the potential to improve the verification of suspicious oil features, the detection of oil in the water column, reducing the need for conventional laboratory analysis.”
